10 years Pacific Festival




  
The first Pacific Festival took place in 2001 in the Bavarian Forest in Falkenstein at the residence of
Dr. Friedrich Steinbauer
former president of the German Pacific Society:

He passed away in 2003 but we never forget that he introduced this event also called the

 Pacific Family Day

Since 2002 a team of friends from the society and some Pacific Islander contitued in organising the festival. Some of the Festivals have been hosted by other societies and were held in Finland, Denmark, England and Germany.
